Bridgette Kelsey is an Australian-born soprano from Melbourne, currently undertaking a Master of Music at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (2019), a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours from the Queensland Conservatorium (2024), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Music Studies (2025).

Bridgette has performed in operatic choruses and leading roles across Australia. In 2022, she performed with Victorian Opera in the Australian premiere of Il Mago di Oz by Pierangelo Valtinoni. She made her leading-role debut in 2023 as Lili Veit in Franz Schubert’s Lilac Time with Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Victoria (GSOV). Her subsequent roles include Una Novizia in Suor Angelica with the Queensland Conservatorium in 2024, Adele in Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermauswith GSOV in 2025, and Sombra in GSOV’s The Arcadians in 2026.

Passionate about championing contemporary music, Bridgette regularly collaborates with emerging Australian composers and has premiered several new works. In August 2025, she made her debut at Melbourne Recital Centre’s Primrose Potter Salon in a curated concert showcasing the work of Australian composers.
